Johannes Kadura

Dr. Johannes Kadura has lived and worked in China for over a decade, and has witnessed key changes in the Middle Kingdom first-hand. In his role as Managing Director of AKRYL, a digital agency with offices in Germany and China, Kadura has worked for clients such as the German and French embassies, Unicef, and several automotive companies. In 2013, he co-founded ChinaEntrepreneur.net, an online platform for current and aspiring China entrepreneurs. Kadura is a frequent commentator on doing business in China and regularly gives talks and presentations on the subject. Moreover, he has been an Adjunct Professor at Peking University's Guanghua School of Management. Kadura is also a foreign policy consultant and has been an Associate Fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP). He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge. In 2016, Cornell University Press published his book on the Vietnam War entitled "The War after the War: The Struggle for Credibility during America's Exit from Vietnam."
