I agree with this article. It the number one thing to do if you have or want to start a business.

At the very least it tells you if you have a viable plan before you even start.

It can be quite scary as you really find out how little you know if you are starting a business for the first time , but don’t let that stop you. It tells you the areas you need to work on, what you need to get clear in your head and what your not sure about. Before you invest you savings (or give up your job) put it in writing even if its just bullet point for your own peace of mind.
