That’s Richard Lodato talking, quoted by Brent Bowers in his column in today’s New York Times, Confronting Failure and Winning. Lodato and his wife are still in business today even after a terrible series of body blows on the business. It’s a tale of bad luck, bad dates, some bad decisions, some bad debt, and survival.
