Susan Mravca is a business leader who has a thirty year history of building businesses with operational excellence and remarkable earnings performance. Susan sold her most successful start-up, H. Allen and Company Inc., a technology staffing firm to StaffMark Inc., a NYSE listed firm in 1997. Most recently Susan is CEO and co-founder of JuvodHR. Expanding on her success in the HR field, she is now building a SAAS employee management tool for small business owners. JuvodHR provides SMB’s simple, meaningful, and low cost employee management tools. The software includes an automated job description creator pulling from a database of over 15,000 titles to self-service performance evaluations which can be done by any front line manager or business owner. The expert system provides results based on well-researched data and using O*NET, U.S. Department of Labor data as a foundation. JuvodHR is an Intuit APP and can be synced with QuickBooks. Susan was partner at InterLangua LLC, an entrepreneurial venture providing language tutoring from Central America and China to the United States over the internet. The company used modern technology in Video and Voice over IP. The service offered experienced tutors in their native countries delivering one on one tutoring sessions in Spanish and Chinese ‘live’ to Universities, Businesses and Individuals. InterLangua China was sold in 2009 and InterLangua Guatemala was turned into a social venture in 2010. Susan’s early companies included SmartCan System® asset tracking applications. This product was exclusively licensed to Arthur Andersen in 1995 for national distribution. The firm also developed time and temperature monitoring devices using touch memory technology. She also founded the first third party maintenance company for Wang computers in Chicago (1985) and a component level board repair company (1990). Both companies were sold to private investors. Susan began her career in sales at Exxon Office Systems in 1981. She has also held the position of Vice President of National Accounts at Intelogic Trace, a nationwide third party service company from 1988 to 1990. Susan is an active member of Hyde Park Angels in Chicago and one of the founding members of the Tiffany Circle, Women’s Leadership Initiative for the American Red Cross of Chicago. Other boards Susan has served on include: First Chicago Bank of Downers Grove, NAWBO Chicago Chapter, Music of the Baroque (Vice Chair Marketing), The Connors Park Neighborhood Coalition (President), The Senior Business Women’s Forum (Founding Member) Joseph Electronics Inc., and Treasurer of The Bristol Condominium Association. Susan holds an MBA from Benedictine University and a BS in Marketing from Northern Illinois University.
